Agent Cloud Startup Daytona Hits $1B Valuation with $60M Series B Led by FirstMark

Daytona, a cloud platform purpose-built for AI agents, raised a $60M Series B at a $1B valuation led by FirstMark Growth. Angels including Stripe's Patrick Collison, Shopify's Tobi Lütke, Zoom's Eric Yuan and Datadog's Olivier Pomel joined; total funding now stands at $91M.

Daytona Platforms, a New York startup building cloud infrastructure purpose-built for AI agents, has raised a $60 million Series B round at a $1 billion valuation. FirstMark Growth led the round — the firm also led Daytona's $24 million Series A in February. The company says its total funding now stands at $91 million.

The round drew a roster of prominent angel investors: Stripe's Patrick Collison, Shopify's Tobi Lütke, Perplexity's Aravind Srinivas, Zoom's Eric Yuan, Datadog's Olivier Pomel, Quora's Adam D'Angelo — who also sits on OpenAI's board — and Mercor's Brendan Foody. Qualcomm Ventures, Samsung Next and Okta Ventures also participated.

Three-year-old Daytona argues that AI agents have infrastructure needs that differ from the long-lived services today's clouds were designed for. Founder Ivan Burazin describes the platform as giving every agent its own computer, with sandboxed Linux, Windows and macOS environments plus GPUs available on a single platform.
