No. The Free plan takes no card and does not expire. You add one only when you move to a paid plan, and Stripe handles it from there; we never see the number.

Your card is charged straight away for the rest of the current month at the new rate, then the full price on each renewal. If your bank asks you to confirm the payment, you finish on Stripe's page, and your plan stays as it was until that payment goes through.

Yes, and it takes effect immediately. The time you have already paid for comes off your next invoice. Nothing you have created is deleted; you keep your startup profiles and forms, and the lower limits apply to what you add from then on.

Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, then the account moves to Free. Nothing is charged again. Until that date you can change your mind from Plans & Billing and the plan carries on as if you had not cancelled.

On the first of each calendar month, back to the full allowance for your plan. Unused questions do not carry over. Plans with an unlimited allowance still have a daily ceiling, high enough that ordinary use never meets it, to stop an automated script running up a bill.

On Free and Go, a small percentage of each paid ticket, shown on the plans above. Pro takes none. Stripe's own card processing fee is separate and applies on every plan.
