AshreiTech, a US technology-focused private equity firm, has made its first investment in Pakistan, backing Pakistan-based cybersecurity company Digit Labs. Terms were not disclosed. Digit Labs, founded in 2015, will use the backing to grow across Pakistan and beyond.

US technology-focused private equity firm AshreiTech has announced a strategic investment in Digit Labs (Di8it), a Pakistan-based cybersecurity company — the firm's first-ever investment in Pakistan. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2015, Digit Labs provides offensive and defensive security services, advisory work and managed cybersecurity to banks, government institutions, telecom operators and other enterprises in highly regulated sectors, with a focus on agentic security operations centres and managed detection and response that pair human-governed AI agents with expert analysts.
AshreiTech said Pakistan's digital economy is growing fast alongside demand for advanced cyber defence, and that Digit Labs has the engineering depth and client trust to lead that market. Digit Labs chief executive Abbas Rajani called the backing a strong endorsement of what the team has built since 2015, giving it the capital and reach to protect more organisations across Pakistan. The partnership also gives Digit Labs broader market access as it scales.
